THE PEACOCK, AFTERNOON AT THE GORGE

THE PEACOCK, AFTERNOON AT THE GORGE, designed and modelled by Judith Walsh Silk and tulle preloved fashions have been reimagined as one form to create a many layered voluminous gown with an extended train and seperate sleeves. The embellishment on the bodice , skirt as well as the featherlike pattern on the train have been painstakingly painted by hand over many days , the headpiece has 2 peacock feathers collected while spending the afternoon at the Gorge . From the outset it has been my endeavour to spend the least amount as possible in order to gain the maximum impact.
